The chilli
octopus
Ingredients (4 people)
1 Octopus of about 2 kg
1 small onion
2 Dl. of extra virgin olive oil
Cayenne paprika
1 chilli
6 small potatoes
Rock salt
Clean the octopus to take off
the slime and hit to tenderise. Heat water to boil and add the
octopus with the onion dipping in the water 2 or 3 times. Leave
to cook during 45 minutes, pierce and when soft take out of the
water. Boil the potatoes at a medium heat cleaned but with skin
on. Cut the octopus in pieces not very thick with scissors and
put to one side the peeled potatoes. In a frying pan fry the chopped
garlic and the chilli in oil.
Place the octopus on a plate surrounded by the potatoes cut in
slices, salt, sprinkle with paprika
And pour the fried mixture of garlic and chilli over the octopus.
